Payment plans: We offer payment plans through DentiCare. Payments are done by direct debit, so there are no credit or finance contracts.

HICAPS: We accept all health funds. Just swipe your health fund membership card to get instant access to your benefits.

HCF: We’re an HCF More for Teeth provider, which means 100% back on a range of services such as check up, cleans, X-rays, flouride and mouthguards if you’re eligible.

Child Dental Benefits Scheme: The Child Dental Benefit Schedule is a government initiative to give financial support for basic dental services for children aged between two and 17.

Benefits are capped at $1,000 per child over two consecutive calendar years.

We bulk bill patients on the Child Dental Benefits Schedule for services covered by the scheme, which include examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions.

We are part of the NIB first choice network. First Choice Dental network is made up of dentists that will offer their services for a set lower rate. Under your nib cover you will still receive a fixed percentage back on your treatment when you visit a dentist in the nib First Choice Dental network (depending on your policy). This will result in lower out of pocket costs for you.

The Dental Choice Network is a group of dental service providers who have committed to reducing or removing the gap for selected preventative dental services that you would usually pay between the dentist’s charges and the CBHS benefit. By choosing to use a dentist in the network you will have no out-of-pocket expenses for these selected services. CBHS members with Prestige (Gold), LiveLife (Gold), Step-up (Bronze Plus), KickStart (Basic Plus), Top Extras and Overseas Visitors Cover are completely covered for selected preventative dental services, including check-ups, scales, cleans and fluoride treatments at any CBHS Dental Choice Network Provider.

Veterans: Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) Gold Card holders receive bulk billed treatment at Newcastle Dental Care.

We can provide dental treatment for White Card holders only where it relates to DVA-accepted disabilities. If you don’t know your status, please contact DVA directly.
